Self-Awareness Leadership Training
John trains, coaches and mentors leaders to impact others better – through self-awareness and leadership presence.
John’s dynamic interactive workshops equip leaders with real tools that get them to see the ways in which their own habits are limiting their impact in getting others to perform better. Using the innovative techniques contained in his highly acclaimed books like, “Who’s The Driver Anyway?” (Carswell, 2011), John Kuypers engages audiences in the 21st century paradigm shift that leadership impact happens most effectively when done collaboratively and in the present moment. The old school of command and control is no longer effective. Successful leaders today know that high performance comes when leaders gain the respect and commitment of all levels of staff to do what it takes to achieve team and organizational success.
Inquire about John’s experiential self-awareness simulation game for teams called, “The Brain Bender Toy Company.” This one hour game lets groups of 8 to 50 create small teams of 4-5 people who are charged to run a toy factory! Team members discover that who’s the driver isn’t as obvious as it seems. This game provides a non-threatening look in the mirror at team culture and individual leadership habits that can block changes needed to adapt to customer needs and strategic shifts.
Participants are then introduced to the four word, three step Who’s The Driver Anyway leadership method. The majority of workshop time is spent applying the WTDA method to solve participants’ real-world leadership challenges. Every participant goes back to work with solutions that work in hand.
John’s work impact culture change as his core method and the two words, “Near” and “Far” become an everyday part of the organizational leadership culture – all in a safe, non-threatening way that results in real behaviour changes and performance growth. Learn more at www.whosthedriveranyway.com
